Street Fighter IV - "Round 2" Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition

Another variation of the Street Fighter IV - Arcade FightStick Tournament Edition is the "Round 2" version that made it's debut during the holiday season of 2009. This was a wide spread release intended to replace the original FightStick TE from Mad Catz.

Product DescriptionEdit

The official Street Fighter IV "Round 2" FightStick Tournament Edition controller for Microsoft Xbox 360 & Sony PlayStation 3 was designed for fighting game fans to recreate the quality, gameplay and precision found in arcades. Using the exact Sanwa joystick and 30mm buttons found in official Street Fighter IV arcade machines, along with realistic spacing and an eight-button layout, the Street Fighter IV FightStick Tournament Edition brings the true arcade experience right into your home. With separate turbo settings for each button and the best components, prepare yourself for hours of competition, no quarters necessary. - Mad Catz

Interesting FactsEdit

  • The "Round 2" logo for the packaging was created from scratch based on a picture that product manager Mark "MarkMan" Julio and art director Roentgen "R2" Reyes took while playing the game.
  • The box art design highlighted key elements in red such as Ryu's bandana, Guile's tattoo, Akuma's eye, etc.
  • This was the first Mad Catz Tournament Edition FightStick to feature an all black casing, introducing black side panels for the first time.
